Bedeutende Reformen and their consequences

I am speechless and paralysed by this political incompetence. Here we go again.

Rage incoming

The "bedeutenden Reformen" that have just been unveiled by our government in the last couple of days will once again lead to right-wing parties gaining further ground in the polls. The reforms in particular:

How can anyone be so stupid as to not finally make a change in direction to make life better and more affordable for everyone?

With the current policies of the Union and the SPD, they will only dig themselves deeper into a hole. Into a grave 🪦. Fascism is near. Undemocratic times are ahead of us. Winter is coming.

I am now convinced that, without proceedings to ban the AfD, there will be no way to prevent its success in the upcoming Bundestag election.

It's so incredibly frustrating. But not really surprising to me. When people with Porsches and private jets decide on reforms, those without privileges are left behind.

We (Linnea and I) want to be more involved in projects that are working toward positive social change. Don't know exactly how yet, but there are a view great projects. If you know anything in Hamburg that should be supported or needs more support, feel free to get in touch. 👋

Fortunately, there are some good ones out there, such as PRÜF or FragDenStaat. FragDenStaat have just put together a helpful overview of the coalition committee’s resolution, in which the SPD and the Union are planning to abolish the Freedom of Information Act (Informationsfreiheitsgesetz). Write to the members of the Bundestag mentioned there and share it with your friends!

See you at the next demonstration.

A very good article by Anja Krüger in the taz on the current reforms.
